About Georgia Wakeboard Lessons Overview

Georgia Wakeboard Lessons is owned and operated by professional wakeboarders Brandon and Brett Lee to transcend what is currently the status quo for wakeboard instruction. Our goal is to provide the safest, highest quality wakeboard instruction for the most value. Our creative instruction techniques are the result of over 25 years combined experience in wakeboarding (10 of those at the professional level); 14 years combined experience in racing motocross up to the national level, with Bachelor degrees in Sport’s Management / Marketing and Exercise & Health Science.

Through our experiences in wakeboarding and motocross, we have learned the importance of proper technique. We break tricks down in easy-to-digest building blocks where we can reinforce proper technique before layering on additional skills. We firmly believe that you’ve got to walk before you can run, therefore we apply this theory to our instruction. Learning proper technique allows for much quicker progression, which any of our students can testify.

Flexibility is key in our instruction of students being that no two are the same. When you’re on the boat with us, our attention is focused on you!

We strive for excellence at every level, and the safety of our students is no exception. We are Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens certified through American Red Cross. In addition, we are NASBLA and USCG certified in boat driving as well as USA Water Ski certified in instructing and judging. Brett is certified in personal training through the American Council on Exercise and will soon be Advanced EMT certified. We take great pride in operating at the highest level of safety for our students, because you or your child is our priority.

Our Location

Our home base is Lake Jackson, GA, located just an hour Southeast of Atlanta. Growing up around Lake Jackson has allowed us to know every cove and crack.

Georgia Wakeboard Events

We feel very strongly in supporting grassroots events. Grassroots events are where we cut our teeth, met long-time friends, gained contest experience, and what we feel is part of the glue that holds wakeboarding together. In 2012, we proudly supported the Georgia INT series and the Burton Mountain Air Classic. For 2013, we plan on supporting the Georgia INT, Mountain Air, and more! Check our Calendar page for upcoming events or “like” us on Facebook to stay in the loop.

Brett’s powerful, smooth, and consistent riding style on a wakeboard is a direct reflection of his discipline in training off the water. He has been competing in wakeboarding for over eight years, with the last five at the professional level. Although helping others in wakeboarding is a top priority to Brett, it is not his only priority. In addition to instructing on the water, Brett is always working on setting a positive example to others, which he believes is extremely meaningful. An accomplished wakeboarder, proficient wakeskater, competitive power-lifter, and personal trainer, Brett has a strong background in athletics and the tools essential to help you progress, no matter what discipline.
